In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered May 7 against Jordan Spagnola of Guthrie Center on a charge of criminal mischief-fifth degree. Spagnola was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge. He must also pay a $125 Law Enforcement Initiative surcharge. A second charge of criminal mischief-fifth degree was dismissed, but Spagnola must pay victim restitution on both charges. Court costs were $60.
A judgment for a $100 fine with a $35 surcharge was entered May 9 against Nathan Allen Zollars of Dana on a charge of assault-simple. Zollars must also pay $120 restitution for his court appointed attorney and $60 court costs.
Judgments were entered in a pair of new cases on the magistrate docket. Amber Marie Benavides and Dray Rivera, both of Jefferson, were both charged with interference with official acts. Identical judgments for a $100 fine with a $35 surcharge and $60 court costs were entered against each of them.
Cases were initiated as follows: Estavan Espinosa Jones of Grand Junction, interference wit official acts and disorderly conduct; and David Troy Upchurch of Jefferson, harassment of public official or employee.
Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week ending May 9 as follows: Joseph Chol of Lansing, MI, speed, $120; and Leslie Lee Reinhart of Scranton, failure to have valid driver’s license, $200.
